[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Self (surname). While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 09:07, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Your userpage
[edit]Hi Greg. I came across your userpage today when I (mistakenly) reverted one of your edits there. That's been fixed, but I thought it worth dropping you a note regarding the contact details you've made available there. Wikipedia often gets trawled by bots looking for email addresses to spam, and thus publishing your contact details in such a public forum is not usually a terribly good idea. If you want to make yourself available for editors to contact (beyond this talkpage), my suggestion would be to enable Wikipedia email (go to "My preferences" (↑up there somewhere), add your address and check "Enable e-mail from other users"). Any user can then contact you by email via the "Email this user" link ←over there.
Thanks for your work on the encyclopedia; I see from Special:Contributions/Greg WS that you've added some very useful information. If you need any help with Wikipedia itself, feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage. All the best, Yunshui 雲水 09:13, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
