Margovsky Gregory (23.02.1963), the Russian poet and the prose writer. Has grown in Minsk in family of the military man. In 1990 has ended the Gorky Literary institute (Moscow). In 1993 was repatriated to Israel where has written novels “Creation from a loose” (1994), “Gardener of dooms” (2000), the play in verses “The Bathyscaphe of a cosmopolitan” (1997), a poem "Ilya Zertsalin" (1999), a number of stories and articles, has published books of verses “The Moth of ashes” (1997), “The Draft of centuries” (1998). A member of the Union of writers of Israel. In 2001 has moved to New York where has created the book of verses “Rearrangement of letters” and has finished work above the final collection “To you with game - game of games!”. In verses of Margovsky, gravitating to neoclassical traditions, the great interest in medieval history and a cabbala is combined with the ready response on problems of modern policy. The Jewish point of view is indefatigably emphasized by the author exposing the irrational nature of anti-Semitism, but also rather critically concerning to costs of an immigrant aesthetic isolationism.
