Maybe I can help
[edit]Hi, I see that Bonkers has rejected your article as well. I saw something about your article I can help with. You have done the referencing manually and that is not the right way. I just copied the code below from User:Bilby's user page. You are supposed to use these templates for your referencing and put the reference details in the body of the article. The reference list is then automatically generated at the bottom of the page

Richard L Bruno
[edit]Hi,
I left the following comments at your proposed article in WP:AFC on Richard L. Bruno:
- I see that photo that you've uploaded for of Richard Louis Bruno appears to be a detail from an image already published on the website for the Post-polio Institute [1]. In fact, I think all of the images in this article have been nominated for deletion at wikicommons [2]. If you claim to be the copyright holder of those images you should support that position at the above link. It might be best to put this article on hold until this is resolved.
- You state below that you are Richard L Bruno's media consultant. That indicates that you are a paid advocate for him and therefore you have a definite conflict of interest. Please read WP:COI and consider making a declaration on your user page and at WP:COIN indicating your conflict of interest.
- If the information in the article is reasonably accurate Bruno is, I think, sufficiently notable under the relevant policies to merit an article (WP:PEOPLE; WP:PROF; WP:CREATIVE. The clearest criteria would be under WP:CREATIVE which states a person may be considered notable if "The person is a significant contributor to, a subject of, or used as an expert source by major news agencies or publications.". If Bruno has appeared as an expert authority on major news outlets, as indicated in the article below ("As part of his efforts to educate about PPS, Bruno has been interviewed by "Newsweek", “The New York Times" and "USA Today." He has appeared on NBC's "Today" Show and ABC's "Good Morning America", on CNN, the "CBS Evening News," ABC News "Nightline," on the BBC, CBC, National Public Radio and on The Discovery Channel and The Learning Channel.) then he would certainly meet that criteria. But the only source currently supporting the above contention in the article as it now stands is en.acadmic.ru [3] which is not a reliable source for wikipedia; in fact, it is a mirror site and hosts the version of this article that was deleted from Wikipedia in July 2011 due to copyright violations. The first thing I would seek to do if I were you would be to track down proper sources for those media appearances. However, even if he meets the criteria there is no indication that there are sufficient independent reliable sources which discuss Bruno and his career and from which a proper encyclopaedic of Bruno might be written.
- Generally, you really need to educate yourself on identifying reliable sources (see WP:RS and WP:Verifiability. Many of the statements the article currently makes have no support from independent and reliable sources. In fact, in many instances the content of the article has little relationship to the sources at all.
- For instance the first line of the article reads: Richard L(ouis) Bruno is internationally known as the world’s expert on Post-Polio Sequelae (PPS, also known as "post-polio syndrome"), the unexpected and often disabling symptoms -- overwhelming fatigue, muscle weakness, muscle and joint pain, sleep disorders, heightened sensitivity to anesthesia, cold intolerance, and difficulty swallowing and breathing -- that occur about 35 years after the poliovirus attack in the world's 20 million polio survivors. But the source supporting that sentence ( "Social Security Ruling: Development and Evaluation of Disability Claims Involving Postpolio Sequelae, SSR 03-1p.; Titles II and XVI". Federal Register 68 (127). 2003.) makes no mention of Bruno at all. In my view this article would have to be completely rewritten to be accepted.
