Cut and paste moves

[edit]

Please stop making cut and paste moves. They are against policy because they create licensing issues. Make move requests at WP:RM. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 19:21, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What licensing issues are there here? The articles have incorrect titles! --Gueracuco (talk) 19:22, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
When you cut and paste to move an article, you break the history of that content and all the content on the Wiki needs to be attributable. So don't do it. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 19:24, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough I will just use the "move" button" instead. Also there is no need to take a tone as if you were speaking to a child, especially when I ask a straight forward and legitimate question. thank you. --Gueracuco (talk) 19:26, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry for that. It's a pretty serious issue that sometimes we got to hammer in. Take the ones you've done already and ask that they be fixed at WP:SPLICE. --ÐeadΣyeДrrow (Talk - Contribs) 19:47, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
