Request reason:

Thanks, we're moving house soon so will get a new IP address anyway. Hopefully it won't have the same problem.

Accept reason:

I gave you IP block exemption for a month. That should fix it in the short term, but you should do the following:

Make sure your operating system is up to date by running any relevant software update manager
Check your system for malware, perhaps by using one of the tools listed in comparison of antivirus software
Disable any privacy-enhancing apps or options in your software while editing English Wikipedia

The first two are so your PC or smartphone never becomes compromised and placed on blacklists, which are one possibility for why your IP address was blocked. Unfortunately, other customers on your ISP can also be responsible for this. The last one is more or less mandatory if you want to edit English Wikipedia. This is because your edits typically get routed through a VPN service if you tell software to enhance your privacy, and we block VPN services. They're often used by vandals to get past our defenses.
