Do not hide spam as minor edits

[edit]

Information icon Hi Hamitdmr! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Real-Time Messaging Protocol that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. —J. M. (talk) 15:47, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm J. M.. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Real-Time Messaging Protocol have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. —J. M. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.—J. M. (talk) 11:47, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Hamitdmr. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.—J. M. (talk) 11:47, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Why are you doing that? You do this when you have no proof. Can't millions of Wikipedia users work on the same topic at the same time? You contaminated Wikipedia with this move.

Decline reason:

Checkuser confirmed abuser of multiple accounts. PhilKnight (talk) 17:46, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Okay, then I want to delete my account forever on Wikipedia. How can I do that?
You can not delete your account. Everything you do on Wikipedia is stored in the history and you are responsible for your actions.—J. M. (talk) 14:08, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
