Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your additions, but please do not add people without Wikipedia articles to these lists. No red links, please, they will be removed. --CalendarWatcher (talk) 14:49, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. Once again, please do NOT add people without Wikipedia articles to these lists, as they are against guidelines and will be removed immediately. --CalendarWatcher (talk) 14:19, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add non-notable names to the list of birthdays or deaths, such as those you added to January 14. Only names that have corresponding Wikipedia articles are eligible for the list. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 14:45, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and thank you for your contributions. When making additions to the date pages, please use care to follow the formatting that already exists in the articles. If you have questions, please ask. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 21:20, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited January 27, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kevin White (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of suicides

[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edits to Mălina Olinescu and List of suicides, as we really appreciate your participation. However, most of the edits had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, or obtained through personal knowledge or unpublished synthesis of previously published material. Wikipedia requires that all material added to articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. One of your additions to the List of suicides article, Mălina Olinescu, was accompanied by a cite that links to a search engine, and the other two lacked a citation entirely (though I added one to Bob Birch, in order to retain it). If you'd like to re-add the others, feel free to do so, but only with the proper citation. If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 23:31, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Scott Calderwood, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GiantSnowman 15:23, 13 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Deaths in 2013 may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
