Hello, As is likely quite obvious, my efforts towards contributing to Wikipedia are recent and few. I have donated a little as I find the site very useful, so felt compelled to make a small donation.

As far as editing or correcting information goes, I don’t know how much I’ll be doing, as it appears to be more involved/complicated than I first thought. The "tilde signature" requirement is a bit confusing as I haven't seen the area or signature box you mentioned. I suppose I'll figure it out as I go. In the meantime, I'll just thank you for all the work that had to be done to maintain the site. In spite of its site somewhat left-leaning bent, on the whole the site is far less political and aggressive in presenting any and all information than nearly any other mainstream internet site. It seems to have remained as true to it's open-source roots (especially in regard to freedom of expression) as is possible in today's social climate. The oversight team is to be commended for that. Your commitment to free expression is the reason I use and support the site as much as I'm able to on a fixed senior's income. I do suggest to others that even small donations likely helps towards keeping the site viable, especially considering the numbers/traffic the site receives. I wish mire people would take the time to donate a few dollars once in awhile to a helpful and educational site. Especial one which allows intelligent, community sourced edits that can help offer more complete and accurate information. Thanks again for your work.
