Hi!

[edit]

Thank you for adding info. ~_^ We just never finished with the description of the Italian dub, and since we've never even seen it, it's kinda difficult to describe this thing. Because of this, the sections about Italian dub look kinda strange... I hope you can help us with this. Oh, yeah, now that you have an account, how about doing something with your user page? You don't have to write much, I mean - look at mine, nothing but userboxes! (I even have some Tokyo Mew Mew-related ones.) 夢の騎士Yume no Kishi - Talk 03:41, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this you?

[edit]

Hi there. I saw some of your vids on YouTube by the way. I didn't know you were coming here too! And yes I do hate chain comments. Please don't hate me.

--Addict 2006 23:50, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I recommend you sign your posts on talk pages: Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --Addict 2006 23:55, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey let me repeat that! my user page is just a bunch of random junk (and some other stuff no one else should know.) I mean, I also did a couple userboxes but they're all Homestar Runner-related. I know I did one on liking this Ichigo over that Ichigo but still, it's not much! --Going crazy, Addict 2006 23:57, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep that's me. Sorry about not leaving things signed. I'm still new to all of this stuff and it's kinda confusing. --Hika Yagami 02:17, 31 March 2007 (UTC)Hika Yagami--Hika Yagami 02:17, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well you don't need to sign TWICE right? Just four ~ tilde marks is okay! Anyway, yes I did check out one of your videos. Well, a couple, most notably that Ichigo/Zoey one with the different languages. And the way-too-light-hearted theme song comparison video. Don't ask. --Addict 2006 14:48, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello?!

[edit]

You there?! Addict 2006 05:47, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, why do you ask?--Hika Yagami 23:15, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why haven't you answered my other post? I mean, are you busy with the redub of MewMew? --Addict 2006 04:57, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Which post was that? I'm not sure if I got it? I'm still not used to how this site works.--Hika Yagami 05:59, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The one that goes "You don't need to sign twice", above... I don't wanna check out your new video seeing as how I quickly paused it and then I read the description... Ugh... Too much light-heartedness! Anyway, did you rough-record them off the episodes or something? --Addict 2006 00:26, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I say this because I doubt anyone has the original soundtrack go I guess they used Audacity or something... Anyway, looks like you're the type to use any of Yume no Kishi's userboxes or maybe mine. Because you seem to like MewMew more than the Bleach anime. (not like you know what it is or want to like that...) --Going a bit crazy, Addict 2006 00:30, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No. A friend bought the 4Kids soundtrack and let me download the Mew Mew Power music files. It's kinda obvious since the songs "Animal in Me" and "Don't Wake Me Up!" Were in episodes 25 and 26 and they never aired in the US. As for the user box thingy. I have no idea how to use them.--Hika Yagami 08:31, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No idea?! You should look here! Wikipedia:Userboxes --Addict 2006 00:44, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know I recorded "killed"-eps 25 and 26 onto my tape somewhere. I never watched those ones... And please improve your grammar - I know I'm being harsh but still... Yeah, Yume doesn't put codes for her userboxes. At least I do. And if you are willing to put the "Ichigo1" box where it says the user likes Ichigo/Zoey more than the Bleach anime character Ichigo Kurosaki (yeah I know...), here's the code.

{{User:Addict 2006/UBX/Ichigo1}}

And by the way -- YTV in Canada (NOT the Yomiuri TV channel [un]fortunately) in fact DID play the three lost episodes. (And I must rage on this.) Why put a "To Be Continued" on "killed"-ep 26 if they weren't sure whether they'll grab the second half of the entire series (or something)? I mean, that's just misleading.

Again, look at the bottom of WIkipedia:Userboxes and you'll find a lot more userboxes made by others. --Addict 2006 00:50, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I'll give you a preview so you can choose if you like it or not...

Mew MewThis user prefers this Ichigo over that one.Shini gami

--Don't view the code - it may be gibberish to you but you'll find out what it means, Addict 2006 00:51, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. Grammer is my worse subject and it's hard for me to understand most of it due to my autism which causes me to look at things literally and grammer seems a little abstract to me. I was lucky enough to pass high school this year(I'm 21) with a C in grammer. Reading long instructions confuse me more. I guess I'll just experiment until I get it right. I am really picky with what I post on my profiles. If I have to put buttons and code thingys then I'll have nothing but Keiichiro. He's my favorite anime character. I never cared for Ichigo much.--Hika Yagami 04:56, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's ok. --Addict 2006 00:07, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know why Yume no Kishi didn't make userboxes about other characters specifically. I'll have to throw this in - copy the code if you do want it:

^_^This user is the owner of the Café Mew Mew.

{{user cafemewmew owner}}

This userbox is about Keiichiro/Wesley, or at least his role. (ugh, which name is first name in Japanese around here?!) But you don't have to take it. I mean, ask Yume to make others or something... --Addict 2006 00:12, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah. What I meant by "ugh, which name is first name in Japanese around here": Well, Wesley's original unkilled Japanese name is Keiichiro Akasaka. So I don't know what to refer to him by if I'm looking for a first name. Because I keep typing Ichigo/Zoey if I'm referring to her nowadays... Because I do know her first name in original unkilled Japanese form. --I'll stop now, --Addict 2006 00:16, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

*rage* Oh why must you keep the 4kids kill fact about zits over nose bumps?! [1] --Addict 2006 00:17, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh man. 3:21 was a Digimon song (Fox Kids, not related to 4kids), right?! I have to say here because I don't have a YouTube account and I refuse because it reguires age verification... --Addict 2006 00:22, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And Power Rangers?! Where'd you come up with that idea? Have you been watching FOX TV long before Fox Kids sold off to FoxBox and 4Kids TV? I mean, that's kinda odd for me to accept... Unless you threw in the after-the-episode commentaries like Sailor Moon originally did... Anyway, I can't accept how you're going to be able to crunch 52-ish episodes down like that... *stop rage* --Addict 2006 00:28, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am terribly sorry if my persona caused you any trouble.

--Addict 2006 00:30, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I have. I've seen Power Rangers since the beginning. And yes, Digimon was part fo FOXKIDS. I still have episodes I recorded and downloads from both shows and I ripped the audio for the Power Rangers music and I got Run Around from the Digimon Movie soundtrack. Yes I am really 21 and I've been around long enough to watch FoxKids. I even have some of my old FoxKids Club magazines. So yes, I'm old.--Hika Yagami 20:48, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MewMew nutshell ranting "Episode 2: Against all that's ugly"

[edit]
Here I go again because I am not a YouTube member and have no place to let you know otherwise - be warned - this is only my opinion and it's way too long to survive through... You will be frustrated if you read this and I am sorry for the inconvenience!

***Attempts to dun-dun-dun the Imperial March*** Anyway, ugh... talk about incoherence. 4kids kills one scene by leaving out the "battle cry" of "Mew mew style etc" in killed-ep-before-the-first (aka original-episode 12). I mean, the original had Ichigo/Zoey about to do her pose but then the shot angle changes and two frames later, she shakes it off. (4kids killed/deleted that one shot of her about to do that pose) And now, I'm afraid you've done it. You've made her do her pose and then lie on the ground as if she were hurt. Her getting hurt probably was the case in the original...

Okay, are you now following the infamous Fairly OddParents style format of introducing a cartoon gag for one episode and one episode only, dropping it off into parts-never-to-be-retrieved for the rest of the show?!* I'm saying you aren't because in case you knew, you did Power Rangers in the last one. Now it's Pokemon? Looks like you oughta keep some of these gags...

* Fairly OddParents one-episode-only gags in my view include: that boys believe the opposite of what girls really say; the fact that parents are "both respecting privacy by knocking but asserting authority by coming in anyway" by destroying the door with a battering ram of sorts; and a bunch of others I don't wish to remember now that I do NOT watch the show anymore.

Unrelated 4kids altering rants

[edit]

And you are aware that 4kids altered Ichigo/Zoey's Mew mark in the first place? When they wiped it off on that one-frame-closeup on her leg when she's falling from the tree, only to reveal in the second episode that it was farther from her... front (for lack of a better word)? Yeah, must be something else...

4kids also took the one unique shot from ep 1 of her doing her "battle cry" and pose while holding her Strawberry Bell, and replaced with with a generic shot of her doing the pose. In the original shot, her mouth was closed for the first second, while in the "generic" shot, her mouth's open for the first second.)

Back to normal

[edit]

Okay now I'm just wasting your time. If you got bored by my rant, then I kinda liked the episode, but you'll still know what I still think. (You can archive this if you want but I only wanted you to read it... kinda...

Ugh, the P.S. The postscript.

[edit]

What WAS the song at 5:03 approximately?! And furthermore, I do not know why you made Ichigo/Zoey say, in her "Sailor Says"-esque segment, say that Cafe MewMew stands out from the scene... Neat. didn't notice that. ...by stating the colors "complete-a-ly clash". Hey, I get bored too. You know what would be really awful?! It's if you throw in a completely light-hearted song** somewhere near the part where... something*** occurs... and then I get so tense I have to remedy that with (insert hard rock group/song here).

** This for instance. But you won't like it seeing as how you don't care for ichigo/zoey much... :S

*** MewMew episode 3... The first time I watched the 4kids kill, I actually wanted Ichigo/Zoey to launch her attack onto lettuce/bridget, after all the attacks she did, therefore knocking her out of commission... Man, her threats really angered me.

Final paragraph of the rant

[edit]

You don't have to take my plot ideas. On the other hand, I have to prepare for today's Calgary Flames game (ugh, and try to forget that crying moment...). Talk to you later (hopefully not in a long rant). -- :(, Addict 2006 01:22, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Uhhhhhh......I'm not exactly sure what your point was. Can you give your point short and sweet? If it's too long then I can't comprehend it. I'll have to read if over about 5 more times before I get it. I know some of the jokes are a little weird and the scenes are inconsistant but that's what happens when you make a parody, especially when trying to compress an episode to 5-6 minutes. Actually the whole "commentary" thing was something that the voice for Ichigo, Berri, did herself as an extra and wasn't in the original script. I just put it up for a few extra laughs. Yeah. I wanted Ichigo/Zoey to attack Bridget too. I hated how they made it seem that she wanted to be popular while in the original she just wanted friends. The script for episode 3 is finished. I even got some of the lines from the cast. Oh and the song during the attack is called "Light of Love" from an anime called Brain Powerd(No this isn't a typo. This is how it was originally spelt.).--Hika Yagami 03:15, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, long rants are unfortunately also what I did to User:Trey56, a Homestar Runner Wiki friend.

I'm saying there are cartoon gags that only last one episode each (like in Fairly OddParents). I do not want your thing to be the case. And you were kinda incoherent - If a viewer watches this only, they would wonder: how did Ichigo/Zoey get knocked down if she only did her pose? And now that I mention it, you were incoherent with her transformation call phrase... I know there are issues when crunching 52-ish episodes down... First period of hockey just ended by the way with no score. But it's gonna come back up shortly for period 2 of hockey. And Hika (can I call you that???), please post the fact about "Light of Love" from the anime "Brain Powerd" right in the YouTube comments.

I, being an addict, only wanted lettuce/bridget to attack ichigo/zoey just because of her threats and threatening attack. -s. (4kids killed that off too by making multiple names and mirror flips out of one attack.) So when ichigo/zoey started to attack, I thought it would go as planned, but then "Just kidding" was the dreadful line.

I kinda liked your thing though but still, there are flaws, which is just what these unfortunate long random rants are for. I can take it off of this page to put in an archive so that these pages are not cluttered. --The Calgary Flames keep me from going crazy over that infamous crying moment, Addict 2006 03:03, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And then I ranted about Ichigo/zoey's pose (about it being different in Ep 1 than in later episodes (probably excluding 46 or something)), and then about her mew mark relocation - like: it was hidden off in the 4kids edition of episode 1 and then revealed to be farther then her... front... in episode 2. --Addict 2006 03:06, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Calgary Flames are back now, so I'll check back in an hour or so, Addict 2006 03:07, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But spoof parodies are suppose to be like that. That's the fun of it. Haven't you seen Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series on Youtube?(I just recently saw it and it's really funny)

I noticed the mark thing too. And I'm sure that you noticed that in later episodes they erase the marks off (ex: In episode 9 when Mint was doing ballet. You can see the mark on her back but 4Kids painted if off in the dub.) I also laugh that they take the crosses off Zakuro but didn't do it to the Blue Knight. The probably thought that they were too small that no one would see them. --Hika Yagami 05:11, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I only saw the occurrences of Blue Screen of Death and the song Trogdor. I gotta get back to watching hockey - Calgary Flames are up 1-0 --Addict 2006 03:31, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1-1 tie. I never got to take a look at most of the episodes though. - I only like the ones I do prefer. --Addict 2006 03:33, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No longer about the rant

[edit]

Okay, 2nd period's done with a 1-1 tie. Anyway, do you feel frustrated over 4kids' complete kill of original-episode 12 - the last part of it? --Addict 2006 03:53, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Back over to a 2 and 2!

[edit]

Okay why did I do that? --Addict 2006 04:19, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Again, I apologize if I've caused any trouble. --Addict 2006 13:22, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can archive my rants if you want

[edit]

I'm just saying, I gave in and became a member of YouTube. But it's not as quick as a Wiki, like Wikipedia, would be. I have to wait several hours or so before significant changes are shown. --Addict 2006 13:18, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I'm superslinger2007 over there. --Addict 2006 13:19, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rants on rules and behavior...

[edit]

Not really a rant, but I think some people believe that being a Wikipedian means editing actively in articles and stuff. And besides, you didn't even reply to my posts. And besides, I joined YouTube a couple of days back, and subscribed to your channel. Thing. Think about it - do you really want to be on Wikipedia?

If not, then add {{user:EX-WP}} to declare that you're leaving Wikipedia. If you want to be back, do something. --Addict 2006 02:55, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Or if you really aren't leaving, try this: {{User:Addict 2006/UBX/NotLeavingWikipedia}} --Addict 2006 02:56, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FIne. I'm adding it. You don't seem to be here anyway, but I understand if you have to study or whatever... Still, it's kinda slow around here. Again, I'm terribly sorry if my long rants scared you off. --Addict 2006 02:58, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not that. My mom just doesn't want me on the computer 24-7. And there's not really much for me to update on the Mew Mew section until I get my new French Mew Mew Power DVDs. They did the 2nd half of the series with no cuts and kept the original music since they desided not to wait for 4Kids to dub the rest. I'm working on getting the episode titles of the French version. I got the titles in Spanish and Hungarian though (but only 1-26 since they were dubbed from the 4Kids version).--Hika Yagami 06:45, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You were the one who added the episode list right? Did you get the from a site? If you did, I can turn that into a citation. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 00:14, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I got the episode titles from http://mewsisters.altervista.org . Enter the site and click the link under "About TMM" that says Riassunto Episodi. It'll show all the titles. Also, I got the titles for all the French episodes as well. Will it be okay to add those if we ever merge the episode list page?--Hika Yagami 06:36, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Currently the episode list still needs work. When it looks like its ok, I will begin add the episode list. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 00:30, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Italian version

[edit]

You know more about the Italian version of TMM right? Do you know when it first aired? THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 22:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I started watching when reruns started to air but according to this page, http://www.mewsisters.org/tokyomewmew/anime.htm , and a lot of other Italian websites including the Italian wikipedia page it first aired on Italia 1 weekday afternoons from March 1st through July of 2004. It also said that it was extreamly successful having the listings up to 1.6 million viewers which caused the manga release to also be successful.--Hika Yagami 05:21, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, Thank you. I'm trying to find out which International version of Tokyo Mew Mew came out first. Do you know anyone that would know the other versions? THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 03:16, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Chinese, both versions, seem to keep themselves in the dark about when it first aired but I do know that according to yesasia.com the Cantonese VCDs came out on December 29th of 2004. So I'm guessing that it probably aired earlier that year or in late 2003. And the Korean version, Berry Berry Mew Mew, according to the official SBS Korea channel site http://tv.sbs.co.kr/mewmew/ , premiered on August 4th 2004.--Hika Yagami 06:03, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering if maybe the French version should have it's own section like the Italian since it was the only dub under the name of Mew Mew Power to finish the series?--Hika Yagami 06:30, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It should, but I know nothing about the French version. You could add that section yourself if you want. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 02:14, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mew Mew Power forums

[edit]

You have an account on 4kids right? Did you see the last post on the forums before it shut down? The last post was on August 31. And, are you able to find posts you made (I believe it says somethin like "find mor posts from this user?) THROUGH FIRE JUSTICE IS SERVED! 15:47, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did but anyone who had an account made before January 2007 has theirs removed so my account is gone. And all the stuff from the old site is gone. Even the old Pickit Play it page is gone. The last post I did, was on a topic that someone named Sakurambo did. A little over a month before the offical announcement, she said that 4Kids was not planning on doing Mew Mew Power anymore because they wanted an all boy's line-up. She also mentioned Dinosaur King during that post too. How she was able to find out a month before the offical announcement, I'm not sure how she did it but it caused her account to be suspended since she told too much. Now there's a rule on the new forums saying that you can't post spoilers unless you get premission. Also the old administrator mentioned the fall line-up and there was no mention of Mew Mew.--Hika Yagami 00:03, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What did the last post say? THROUGH FIRE JUSTICE IS SERVED! 20:54, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
