Proposed deletion of Hannah N. Niccum
[edit]The article Hannah N. Niccum has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:BASIC with no secondary sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. McGeddon (talk) 10:24, 21 June 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Hannah N. Niccum
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hannah N. Niccum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. McGeddon (talk) 11:25, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Help me!
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
The wikipedia page "Hannah N. Niccum" and "Joshua R. Lao" were both deleted this morning due to our "unimportance" and "insignificance" however, we are asking that these pages be brought back to the website. We feel these have every right to stay, and in some of your guidelines, your website mentioned that if there was a harmless and neutral biography it could stay up. Please explain how these autobiographies are not neutral and are not harmless. Just because there are not articles/secondary sources revolving around us, does not indicate that our autobiographies are extravagant lies. Thanks again Hnniccum (talk) 11:54, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a web hosting service. We have Notability guidelines here. If you do not meet those notability guidelines, you can't have an article. See here for autobiography guidelines. Even if a page is "harmless" doesn't mean that it deserves to stay. ThePlatypusofDoom (Talk) 12:15, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Also, If you are not here to contribute to the encyclopedia, you will be blocked. Read this for more. ThePlatypusofDoom (Talk) 12:18, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
