christian mythology
[edit]Listen, im not trying to cause problems here, but in Christian Mythology God/Jesus has Infinite power and it is illogical that anything else could have any authority of anything else. The Devil was banished out of Heaven and onto earth. I would like to discuss this common misconception
- Then, there is a dicussion page on the article, and you can present there your RELIABLE SOURCES that support your view! -- I'm not that crazy (talk) 16:04, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
Thats cool, ill get all of that and post it here. I will be using the Bible is an actual reference because this is in reference to Christian Mythology. I just thought it was a common sense thing but if this is the way its done, then thats just the way i'll have to do it. In the future, be a bit more courteous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.233.222.85 (talk) 16:17, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- Don't bother posting it "here", post it at the article's Talk page. I will be more courteous, though your use of the phrase "Christian Mythology" is offensive to millions, you know. -- I'm not that crazy (talk) 16:19, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
I don't like the term "Christian Mythology" as much as the next person, I was just trying to keep it in the context of this article. If its more appropriate I will use the term Christianity. That is perfectly fine with me. Also I have a discussion started on the discussion page, please participate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.233.222.85 (talk) 16:23, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

- You're welcome, no problem. I see that there's some Wikimedia Foundation employee chiming in with no clue. I think I might have to swing back by there. - I'm not that crazy (talk) 14:27, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

[edit]I nominated it for deletion. It wasn't a WP:POINT or anything. Just didn't feel they met the notability requirement or that the sources were appropriately independent. I edit heavily on marketing topics and orgs and it was the sort of article I would nominate routinely. Didn't want you to think I was trying to start an argument or make a point. CorporateM (Talk) 05:55, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
- It's disappointing that you hate the 40 people a month who were being served by that article. The world will not be a better place with the deletion, despite how the power of your nomination may make you feel. I know it's a bit of a rush to think, "I can control the content on this massively popular website". It's unfortunate that more Wikipedians don't take a more Buddhist approach and renounce destruction of things that are not harming anyone. - I'm not that crazy (talk) 11:58, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
???
[edit]Why are you doing, showing some old drama to a guy trying to teach wikipedia? [1] They're here for the articles and the public perception of wikipedia, NOT any drama. I'm not any kind of "guest speaker" anyway, I was only intending to give a friendly barnstar to one or two of them. Please remove your comment. Rcsprinter (banter) @ 08:58, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- Looks like you didn't give me a chance to remove it. I wasn't trying to generate drama; just pointing out to the instructor that you seemed to have a bit of a mean streak in the past, so you may not be the friendly barnstar-giver that you make yourself out to be. - I'm not that crazy (talk) 06:35, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- I gave you three days to remove it, which is plenty a chance. And giving a stern word or two to somebody who was causing problems with articles does not constitute a "mean streak", so how is that any basis for claiming I may not be friendly to new users, and give them encouraging barnstars? And even if it was, how does the teacher need to know that anyway? I think I can give an encouraging message fine enough. The whole thing is moot now anyway because the course has finished. I did not mean to offend
[edit]Re: [2], I did not intend to come across as trolling. If that is how I sounded, I apologize.
I considered making that comment on the page in question rather than here, but that would've been a bit more public than your user talk page, and it would have also been hypocritical of me. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 04:36, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- You took the time to counsel me. Did you take any time to look into the tag-teaming history of the two editors I'm concerned about? It's like a hit parade of COI agenda manipulation. - I'm not that crazy (talk) 13:57, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- I didn't even think to look in that direction. Thank you for the information. As you are more familiar with this situation than I am (it's brand-new to me), I will leave it to you to either work with these editors to make them better editors or, if necessary, solicit help at the appropriate noticeboards, possibly including WP:AN or one of its sub-pages. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 23:01, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
