Hi Ikabana. Thank you for your efforts on the visa article. I removed the link you added and just wanted to leave you a note to let you know why. We have some guidelines about external links. One of the things we try not to link to are open wiki sites except in a few exceptional cases. At first glance, I know it seems bizarre with us being an open wiki and all, but the reasoning is that our external links should go to other encyclopedic information, and that websites ought to have a reputation for providing accurate and appropriate information before we link to them. Few open wikis are able to do this - especially when they are new. Also open wikis that have few editors are effectively self published by non-experts in field. This again makes them less appropriate for an external link on an encyclopedia article. I hope this doesn't discourage you from editing here - we can always use more good editors, so please stay and keep working! If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a message at the bottom of my talk page. -- SiobhanHansa 13:08, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
