Information icon Hello, I'm Annh07. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Dog biscuit have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. The external link you added to the article is a spam link. Please read WP:LINKSTOAVOID. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 11:16, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But I checked with my veterinarian, he told me that zudaan.com has good and valid information. what you mean by spam link? their information is not valid or there is something else. Immly (talk) 11:23, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The website you have provided is a personal website or blog, not a reliable source. Please read Reliable sources. Thank you. Annh07 (talk) 11:28, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
okay you mean we should not add external link of any blog, whether that blog has good and valid information. Right?
Second question is, can I add the same removed information without any external link? Immly (talk) 11:34, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
1. According to WP:UGC, content from websites whose content is largely user-generated is generally unacceptable. Sites with user-generated content include personal websites, personal and group blogs (excluding newspaper and magazine blogs), content farms, Internet forums, social media sites, fansites, video and image hosting services, most wikis and other collaboratively created websites.
2. You can't. Wikipedia's core principle is that all articles must strive for verifiable accuracy, citing reliable, authoritative sources. Please read WP:5P. If you want to re-add previous information, you must cite it from a reliable sources. Regards. Annh07 (talk) 11:59, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
