Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Remedy UK March.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Android Mouse Bot 2 18:02, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation

[edit]

Hello Inbetweener. I appreciate your good contributions to Tamil-related articles. I'd like to invite you to edit the Tamil Wikipedia too. I strongly believe that your expertise and perspective would add significantly to the evolving wiki there. To start with, there's a dearth of medicine-related articles and our "resident Doctor" is on leave. :-) You can have a look at this page to get an idea of the kind of articles written. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 03:01, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, you can take it up when you're free. And, you need not write full-length articles in Tamil to start with. One or two paras would do. Also, people out there would help with translation too. -- Sundar \talk \contribs 03:33, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for expanding this article. I have edited it to match the taxonomy we're using, which lists it as two species. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:08, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Inbetweener! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 273 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Manickam Yogeswaran - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
