Bad draft title
[edit]Hi, I just want to let you know that if you want to create a draft, don't title it as "User:(draft title)", eg. "User:Sanda (Movie Actress)". Instead use your own subpage, eg. "User:Intellectual Sponge/Sanda (Movie Actress)" or use WP:Articles for creation which will put the draft into the Draft namespace, eg. "Draft:Sanda (Movie Actress)". Thanks. —twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 02:51, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice Twotwofourtysix! I'm relatively new, like fresh new so I'm still trying to learn how to edit, create and refine my craft on wiki. To be honest it's sometimes a bit overwhelming, without much of a guide. Tho there may be ups and downs, I still enjoy archiving stories/ topic and like the positive interactions from the community! Thank you again Twotwofourtysix! I'll try to not make that mistake again. :) . Also is there any way to fix my mistake? 05:06, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi there. If what you're referring to by "my mistake" is the pages I referred to earlier, unfortunately they've been removed [1] [2]. But don't worry, I think the content of your pages are now in the Main namespace now, ie. they're now just like any other Wikipedia encyclopedia articles, like Sanda (Movie Actress) and King Theikdaing Min. Kind regards. —twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 05:37, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Intellectual Sponge, Thank you so much for creating and translating Burmese articles for English Wikipedia. I'm so happy to see new Burmese articles because I have not seen any new Burmese articles on En-Wiki for a long time. Burmese editors are very rare. I've fixed the translation errors. I'll help you in future as much as i can. Keep up your nice work ! I'm waiting your new articles. Thanks Best regards 185.205.142.77 (talk) 18:18, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Twotwofourtysix: Pls check again the articles. 185.205.142.77 (talk) 18:21, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
Sanda (Movie Actress) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Sanda (Movie Actress), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's elegibility.

- Hey @Diannaa! I wanted to ask what I had copyrighted? It is because of his vows? Or is it something else? Thank you! Intellectual Sponge (talk) 00:15, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Content you added was a match for content at this page. It looks like you pasted the vows into a wikitable, and there was no indication that it was intended to be a quotation. Another editor removed the addition, describing it as "WP:UNDUE" — Diannaa (talk) 02:01, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- How should I add proper citation? His Vows are important, but I didn't know how to go about it. I tried to give it proper credit by adding the small citation at the bottom of the vows. Intellectual Sponge (talk) 02:18, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- The point is not whether or not you provided a citation; the problem is that you copied the material from your source, which is copyright. You can't do that. It's a violation of our copyright policy. — Diannaa (talk) 03:40, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
