Hey mi hermano[edit]

I noticed that your article "Triple Champion Club" has been nominated for deletion. I went to defend your article, but the truth is that I couldn't find a verifiable reliable source to proof that such a "club" or the phrase itself exists. Then I was going to suggest that it be renamed to "List of Boxing Triple Champions", but there is already an article with that name that contains (You yourself have worked on that article) the same information which you have in the "TCC" article. The problem here is that there is no reason for the existence of the "Triple Champion Club" article. I suggest that you merge the info that you have in the article to the "List of Boxing Triple Champions" before it is deleted. Take care. Tony the Marine (talk) 06:22, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Go to your "User" page. You will find a "workshop" that I have created for you. In your workshop you can write your article "con calma" before posting it in the mainspace. Once that you written your article in your workshop, you can have someone look at it for any suggestions and then post it. Tony the Marine (talk) 20:30, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Glad to see you around. I was working on and recently finished Jewish immigration to Puerto Rico and Chinese immigration to Puerto Rico. Take care, Tony the Marine (talk) 02:11, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Puerto Rican Irish[edit]

Since you enjoyed my Jewish immigration article, I think that you may like the 360 degree overhaul that I did to the Irish immigration to Puerto Rico article. You see my main objective in my immigration articles is to create awareness that Puerto Ricans are not just a result of a combination of Spanish/African/Tainos as we and everybody else has always been led to believe. Even though the mixture of the three races is the basic fundation of our beginings, for the last two hundred years our people have also been mixed with the people of non-Hispanic origins, hence the surnames Miller, O'Neill, Santini etc, plus red and blond haired Puerto Ricans with all sorts of colored eyes and shades of skin. In other words, in my opinion, it would be most correct to recognize and state that Puerto Ricans are also a mixture of non-Hispanic Europeans. Tony the Marine (talk) 23:08, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

List of Puerto Rican boxing world champions...[edit]

Has now been recognized as a Featured List by the project's community. Regards, - Caribbean~H.Q. 00:28, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

I may be able to take a look at another list later in the year, but my work generally takes some months of tweaks to be completed, just like this list. - Caribbean~H.Q.
You now have a Featured List under your belt. User:Caribbean H.Q. put his heart and soul into it and the only thing that I did was help in the prose and spelling, we call it "The Tony Touch", but you created it, Felicidades! Tony the Marine (talk) 08:01, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Tony the Marine[edit]

Congratulations on your great article on Puerto Rican boxing champions.

Regarding Tony the Marine, he is the only Wikipedian who has always been there to help me, whenever I've asked him.

He is a true gem.

Boricua in Space[edit]

  • I want to share with you and every Boricua in Wikipedia that today March 19th, our "Boricua" astronaut Joseph M. Acaba, proudly displayed and placed the Puerto Rican Flag in the Discovery Shuttle and that he played "Que Bonita Bandera" while doing so. His pride in his heritage, makes me even prouder of mine. Tony the Marine (talk) 22:40, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Please participate[edit]

The issue of weather it is proper to use or not, the flag of Puerto Rico in the article of the "Puerto Rico Campaign" infobox has come up. This one of those cases that I believe that it is important that others express their opinion in the Talk:Puerto Rican Campaign. Please participate. Tony the Marine (talk) 14:09, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for participating the discussion involving the Flag icon of Puerto Rico. Now, I ask you to please participate in the following consensus. Thank you. Tony the Marine (talk) 04:09, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Pacquiao vs Cotto[edit]

No se, Pacquiao esta duro. I finally discovered the "link" between our current Puerto Rican flag and the Flag of Lares. Check out my new intro. and additions to the Flag of Puerto Rico. Tony the Marine (talk) 19:04, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Cotto's speed is somewhat underrated and Manny isn't a welterweight, he might get knocked out if he plays with one of the elite in the 147 limit, the only way that the fight can be fair is in a catch-weight. - Caribbean~H.Q. 23:39, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Como estas? There is a message for you here message, please read carefully. Gracias Tony the Marine (talk) 06:16, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Tuesday, November 23, 2010[edit]

Dear Wikipedia editors:

Since my first editing in July 2007 [before any else in the entire world did (and I searched for years The Ring Magazine, several other magazines, books, or Internet sites) I specifically have created several lists (in unique form, style, fashion, or narration) of boxing miscellaneous. I am so proud of what did, but I decided to abandon Wikipedia *

So, I am here to notify you all that I understand that I have the legal right to publish (in other or personal website) any of my original creations as the creative owner I am.

In the "history" archives of those pages are my the definitive proof of my labor and work as "Io_Wiki2007". I delayed almost one year in my computer (using Boxrec) before posting them in Wikipedia in July 2007.

In other words, I own what "I" wrote (not what someone else may have added or edited) until my last edition as special given day.

So, that means That I know can publish my "old" work in other venues if I want, or when I want.

In fact, by the last several months my lists are not well done as I created originally, plus few (or half-dozen) of boxer names are absent there without explanation, ignorance, or vandalism (strong or little). Yes, I know-- anyone in Wikipedia can edit. Yes, I know; but I do not agree with lots of edits, reason of why I abandoned the list last year.

I will use my old lists, and continue they as they were supposed to be, always following my original format, fashion, narrative, etceteras, thing that (I proudly say) millions of people read and follow in the planet. Anybody can continue my lists in any place but the ones that I will revamp (in my site) will be the original ones because they will contain everybody that achieved such tasks, without the bias, race-hatred, sporting-hatred, or any other type of bias that make someone to delete, ignore, etc, etc just for stupid fighting.

Even though I posted my articles in Wikipedia under the GDFL license, that what I basically did was to permit Wikipedia to place it in public domain and to allow others to edit my work.

What I do not have a legal right is the edits of others; and I am NOT interested in the edits of others, since I may do NOT concur with their edits.

The list that I am talking and created by me in 2007 are:

So, by this mean (My Wikipedia Talk page) I am letting all you to know that I am withdrawing permanently from Wikipedia as an editor, although I will stay only to edit my "User Page" or my "User:Io Wiki2007/Workshop" just for my intellectual and educative fashion as the scientist and book author I am.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day.
