T-REX[edit]

The short answer is it all lies in its success. If the multimodal operation works as intended, such as to reduce traffic or pollution, that's great. If it doesn't, it could be considered a waste of money or poor planning. In New York, we do have an extensive rapid transit system and a lot of traffic. And many people do use multiple modes of transportation. So I cannot say if the city's congestion pricing proposal will or will not work, nor do I dare say whether I am against it or I support it.

I shouldn't really be answering your questions as you raised them: user talk pages are not really for discussion like this. If you want to ask me to give suggestions for the T-REX article, you could, but I don't know if I can help you because I don't know much about the subject. Hi Tinlinkin, Thanks for the note. I'd prefer to stay away from email myself too. Please remove the email address if possible. I agree with your ascertation that large metropolitan areas such as Los Angeles, NYC and London where it seems any change to existing infrastructure is fighting an uphill battle. Good planning is the key to any success-- If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. And especially in New York, it's difficult to say any solution will provide an economical benefit. Some cities for one reason or another don't explore other viable options, and Seattle is one of them.
