Warious Warhammer

[edit]

Thanks for the edits to the Dark Omen page, I had forgotten the background story but your contributions really made a big difference to the article! Happy to see someone else with (hopefully good) memories of the game!

Btw, you don't happen to remember the story to Shadow of the Horned Rat? I've been meaning to do a similar article for that game, but screenshots are more difficult to find, and I haven't gotten round to making a Win95 virtual machine yet. Mikademus 14:05, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I spiffed up the Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat page some. Fedback appreciated. Btw, I too never finished that game, it was hard! Mikademus 16:22, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Moving Greg Burdette

[edit]

Would you mind if I inquired as to why Greg Burdette, Dr. Mobius, and Sydney are being moved? They are a reporter and scientists, repectively, and are not really combat units for GDI or Nod. TomStar81 04:09, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Very well. Thanks for providing an explination, and thanks for the help with new pages. TomStar81 04:39, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Kyo Kara Maoh

[edit]

Thanks for the heads up; I already knew.

I agree with you, I'd rather have Koji than Kouji or Kohji, so I know what you're saying. See you around! --Brittany 09:10, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Flatwater vs. sprint

[edit]

I understand your concerns about changing flatwater canoeing to canoe sprint, but this is what the International Canoe Federation (ICF) decided at their 2008 Congress in Rome [1], but there is precedent on this. The International Shooting Sport Federation was known as the Union International de Tir (UIT) from its 1907 founding to its name change in 1998. As a result, all of the World Championships were changed on this. Another example of this is the International Sailing Federation which was founded in 1907 as the International Yacht Racing Union (IYRU) though they changed their name after the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. All of the Olympic yachting events up to the 1996 Games have been referred to as Sailing at the XXXX Summer Olympics (Example: Sailing at the 1968 Summer Olympics) even though the official Olympic reports state these events as yachting. The ICF is in the process of changing the formats for this event, the whitewater slalom (called canoe slalom after being called slalom racing), and marathon racing (now called canoe marathon) events. The championships that have already been held will be retroactively named by the ICF and they are in process of doing this. I hope this explains my reasoning for what I did. Fair use rationale for File:Chinadaily.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Chinadaily.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:03, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Fan translation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails WP:NOTDIC

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Ryulong (琉竜) 23:14, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
