Request reason:

Valid Content Contribution on Hospitality and Accommodation industry. Please review content changes list, I am seeking account confirmation by contributing minor content edits to industry related pages and these edits are neutral in nature and non-advertising related. Once account is verified, I would like to create an article page detailing factual information of our business entity. Thank you.OakwoodMarketing (talk) 02:57, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You may not do that. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 04:44, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi administrator, if making suggestions as contributions is not the way to go, please advise how we can get our account confirmed. We referenced this article and it was mentioned that the account needs to be at least 4 days old and contribute at least 10 edits to be auto-confirmed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_access_levels. How do we seek to be auto-confirmed if we are not able to contribute value add edits to the community?OakwoodMarketing (talk) 06:06, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You have not proposed a new username as instructed. You will also need to designate a single person to exclusively operate this account and give no one else access. The only reason to seek autoconfirmed status is to be able to directly create articles- you will not be permitted to, in the short term, directly create articles related to any conflict of interest that you have, even if autoconfirmed. Please also read the paid editing policy. If you want to be a general contributor and edit about topics unrelated to your conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:58, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hi administrator, I have performed an username change per your advice. As shared in my earlier reply, the only reason why we are seeking autoconfirmed status through the edit contributions is so I can create an article page detailing factual information for my business entity similar to how it is done for other hospitality (hotel) chains. I understand that we have to put in a declaration clause on my User Page declaring my representation with my employer but I am not able to do so given that my account is currently blocked. Paid Contribution Disclosure: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Paid-contribution_disclosure. I seek your assistance to further advise if this is not the approach and what should be done to rectify the necessary. Thank you. Isaac Oakwood (talk) 00:52, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) Just some friendly advice, because admins are busy volunteers and may take some time to respond: When you write that you want to be unblocked so [you] can create an article page detailing factual information for [your] business entity similar to how it is done for other hospitality (hotel) chains, you are expressly stating your intention to do something that is frowned upon by English Wikipedia. If you continue to create or directly edit an article or articles about your own business entity, it will be considered disruptive and your block will remain. Please read What Wikipedia is not, the guide to appealing blocks, and the English Wikipedia policy about conflicts of interest. Matuko (talk) 04:38, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rename from "OakwoodMarketing" to "Isaac Oakwood"[edit]

Rename from "OakwoodMarketing" to "Isaac Oakwood" as the prior user name was inappropriate. Did not realize there were other concerns. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 00:42, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
