Benedict Carton page

I'm trying to clean up (or better, delete) the page I created for my colleague Benedict Carton. His work title is out of date, and the Isibaya reference is poorly sourced. Zschrag (talk) 18:39, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Zschrag, I think I may have inadvertently pressed my revert key. Apologies. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 18:42, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Thanks. The rules state that "contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately," and I believe the Isibaya credit falls within that. I would be happy to see the page deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zschrag (talkcontribs) 18:46, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

RW RfC close

Hiya. I appreciate I'm very late to the party on this but I'm curious about your close at Wikipedia_talk:RedWarn#RfC:_Dealing_with_abuse_of_RedWarn. Do you not feel as though you're WP:INVOLVED given you're part of the development team? I don't necessarily think it's a bad close (it would be hard to close it any other way, I think), but not sure I would have closed it in your position? Not a criticism in the slightest, but would be interested in your thoughts? Best, Darren-M talk 03:35, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

I honestly realised my mistake afterwards (albeit I was hardly involved at all in the development at that point) but I thought it was a waste of time after I closed it to reopen it again. I thought as long as I hadn't voted (which I hadn't), it would be appropriate to close it. If you believe the RfC should be reopened, I urge you to do so, and I apologise for my error. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 09:42, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
Berrely, Thanks, that makes sense. I can't see that it could have reasonably been closed another way so I don't think there's any value in reopening it. Best, Darren-M talk 11:52, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
