Your Graham Bensinger images[edit]

You have tagged the image Image:Graham Bensinger Tonight Show.jpg with {{self|GFDL-no-disclaimers|cc-by-3.0}} and claim it is your own work. It is impossible for it to be your own work as it is a shot taken from The Tonight Show and The Tonight Show would be the copyright holder. An image like this can only be used under Wikipedia's Fair Use policy and with a Fair Use rationale. Because of the similarities I also have suspicions with the images Image:Graham Bensinger with Lachey and Bettis 2.jpg, Image:ESPNU2.jpg, Image:Graham Bensinger World's Highest Bungee Jump.jpg. At most you can only have one non-free image of the same subject. Please address these issues immediately. Thank you. Medvedenko 04:52, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Response[edit]

They are my own images. If you'd like confirmation, please email Graham@TheGBShow.com. www.TheGBShow.com is Graham Bensinger's official site. You can get confirmation from Graham directly.

I contacted the email address and person you indicated and he confirms that the images are being properly used. I apologize for being suspicious, but I have encountered people who didn't understand the difference between the work they have created and the work others created in the past.
For all images you should include the information found at Wikipedia:Image use policy#Adding images (Description, Date, location, ect.) Not only is it useful it will help anyone else from questioning whether the images are free or not. You may also want to upload the images at Wikipedia Commons for other language Wikipedias or articles to be able to use.(I bet The Jay Leno Show article would appreciate a free image.) Thank you for addressing my concerns. Medvedenko 03:10, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On a side note if you continue improving the Graham Bensinger article please cite your sources. Thanks. Medvedenko 03:13, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
