Where he also attended school, he grew up with Horns in his ears from an infant, he was jump by 7 gang members @ 14 and that's how he found his uncle; he would become his best friend and mentor. This song was submitted to Kday without distribution. Macola Records was the distributor of small albums. Ivan sent Monkey see Monkey do for distribution, their response was if you get this song in any rotation they would distribute it. Ivan completed his studio with an 808 drum Machine, Roland Synth sbx 90 sound processer and 4 track recorders. Ivan took a common pop beat and laid his funk on top and wrote (Robo Cop) Thus was born the West Coast sound! Pop and Hip Hop copyright 1986. After that he wrote Drop the Beat, and that song contains what we know is the oldest and first mention of 24/7 (Librarian verified) and where he named the art of beat making. He submitted the Demo in 1986 to Macola Records but they did not call until around 1991 Dr Dre and Ivan sat side by side at Macola but Ivan walked out.                                                                                                           The musically silent years 1987-1998                                                                                                                           led the Community in business and Ivan Law was called to Pastor.                                                           The second coming and current 1998-20013                                                                                                                         Ivan would be in a central location to meet people because of business he purchased a new studio, He met Chingy, Eric sermon, Gorilla Black, Deja Ceo of Subliminal Records, Sk RayJ’s producer, he wrote his own commercial which aired on the beat, he was called by the add executive and someone inquired who’s beat it was. Ivan had his studio set up in his store he worked on new sounds all the time. We first heard the term jacking for beats on my space; Ivan was raped for hooks & Beats online.
