Edit warring on Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia

[edit]

Hello @JCMusic24, you appear to be engaged in an edit war with me on the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia page. When another editor reverts an edit you have made, it is not appropriate to reinsert the same content. If you feel that the revert was done in error, you need to take it up on the talk page, or discuss it with the editor on their talk page. I get that you're a new user here, but this is a basic rule of Wikipedia. Thanks! Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 04:17, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I read that my edit was removed because I didn't give cite a reference, and that makes sense. I know Buschini was a student at the Centre and got his diploma, but I don't disagree that a citation is needed. I tried it again with a reference to correct my error. Wrong way to go about it, but I acted in good faith, not to start an edit war. I won't try editing again. JCMusic24 (talk) 05:24, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Don't give up so quickly. You are welcome in this community, you just need to familiarize yourself with some of its basic rules as you go about editing. It's like joining any other community, right? Anyway, I hope you don't quit after one minor incident. Being active on Wikipedia is a worthwhile endeavour, and new users are always welcome :) Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:55, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
