It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

symplectic Euler method

Regarding your addition of the stability region: The cited article is not available online. If you have it present, could you please expand on the methodology that produced the diagram? The stability region for Runge-Kutta or multistep methods are derived from the study of the scalar equation $y'=\lambda y$ . What class of linear differential equations (of order 2 or as 2D system or derived from a Hamiltonian function) is used for symplectic integrators? Additionally, one may ask: Are they Hamiltonian?
