Your draft article, Draft:Rank insignia[edit]

Hello, John Maynard Friedman. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Rank insignia".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 04:38, 27 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Braille zero[edit]

I think it's better to talk about it on Talk:Symbols for zero, in order to collect community consent. If you need my attention on discussion, use {{ping}}. Apart from this, nice idea 😊--Il Gatto Obeso (talk) 16:19, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. 😊--Il Gatto Obeso (talk) 20:55, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

content on the Ireland/Northern Ireland Protocol[edit]

He John,

I noticed your edit summary in which you suggested there may be an edit fork between Brexit and the Irish border and the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement. I have been struggling with what would be the best way forward here. Many Brexit articles seem to have been adanced chronologically. That is a good idea in general, but in this case it means we have an acceptable article on the -never implemented- Backstop, but no article on the actual protocol. The main article is now a subparagraph at the "Brexit and the border"-article and at the "Withdrawal treaty" article. Do you think we should write an article on the actual protocol as the main location with links ("main|") from the relevant paragraphs here? L.tak (talk) 14:09, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@L.tak: Yes, I think that the I/NI Protocol story will run and run. I suggest that you open a WP:SPLIT proposal at Brexit and the Irish border. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 14:58, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
