Disambiguation link notification for August 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Richard Childress Racing, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Freightliner (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:04, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a relationship with JR Motorsports or any company or organization named "JR Nation"?[edit]

Do you have any business or personal relationship with JR Motorsports or any other topic you have been editing on, other than as a fan? You've been around a couple of years, but it's possible you haven't read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest or Wikipedia:Paid editing disclosure. A simple "no, I have no conflict of interest with any edits I make" or "I have conflicts of interest, but I disclose them when I make the edits and edit according to the guidelines or polices" or "I wasn't aware of those pages, I will read them and comply with them from now on and declare any necessary conflicts of interests on the appropriate article talk pages, and go back and apply {{connected contributor}} and {{connected contributor (paid)}} to those article talk pages if I need to" is all the response I'm asking for.

Also - and I see this as a requirement not a mere request - do you have any connection with any business named "JR Nation" or any business with a similarly confusing name? If you do NOT, please say so clearly on your user page. In that case, you do not need to change your name since you will have clearly said there is no connection.

If you DO have a connection with such a business, please change your username to something "unique" so it is clear that this account is controlled by a single person. User names like "companyname" or "companyname President" are not allowed, because they imply they are either being shared or will be "passed down" from one person to the next as people change roles within an organization. "John at JR Nation" would be an acceptable name. Also, if the business is related to racing, consider disclosing on your talk page that you work for a business in the racing industry and that you are aware of and comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines related to conflicts of interest and that you are not paid to edit Wikipedia nor is it part of your job. Of course, if you are editing as part of your job, say that instead and say who you work for. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:47, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the notice! I used this username because I am Dale Jr fan and I have nothing to do with JR Motorsports. To spare some troubles I will not used this account anymore because I already created a new account with unique username that has nothing to do with some organization. Thank you and have a great day JRnation88 (talk) 02:41, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
