Draft: Ian King (footballer, born 1974)

[edit]

Dear User:JVB2006,

Your current draft article, Draft:Ian King (footballer b. 1974), is absolutely garbage. Here are some changes that I recommend you do to fix up the article:

  • 1. Change the name
- The name of the article should be Ian King (footballer, born 1974). The term "b." can mean basically anything and isn't justified, so I highly suggest that you change the name to that, in the style of Marcelo (footballer, born 1988), Pedro (footballer, born 1987), or Ian King (footballer, born 1972). See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people)#Disambiguating for more info
  • 2. Fix the grammar
- The article has way, way, too many spelling and capitalization errors that need to be fixed. We need to fix all of the grammatical errors before the article can even be considered to be submitted to become a real article.
  • 3. Add more sources
- This is pretty self-explanatory. You have multiple paragraphs of information about his careers in playing football and managing clubs, which means that you probably used multiple sources, however, you didn't cite anything at all. I suggest you see Help:Referencing for beginners and Wikipedia:Citing sources for more information about citing sources.
  • 4. Organize the article a lot better
- The different types of information you put into the article can be separated into different subheadings. I suggest you see the articles about Claudio Ranieri and Nicolas Anelka, and try to copy that style, whenever you decide to complete the article.
