June 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. You may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.
Saw your post on my talkpage. Please don't read the COI or Refimprove tags. You have a COI and are not reading the advisory wikilinks. ----moreno oso (talk) 16:40, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Jack Gibbons. Thank you. You should not be editting this article. --moreno oso (talk) 06:20, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Jack Gibbons. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. EWikistTalk 16:22, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jack Gibbons, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. You have a WP:COI and should not be removing the COI tag. --moreno oso (talk) 16:32, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Jack Gibbons, you may be blocked from editing. Don't refactor or change talkpage headers again. If you do so, you will be subject to blocking. You should now know better not to remove maintenance tags and refactoring. If you don't, then please stop your edits until you do. --moreno oso (talk) 16:45, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jack Gibbons, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Do not remove the COI tags again. This is your final warning. --moreno oso (talk) 18:32, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your attention needed at WP:CHU[edit]

Hello. A bureaucrat or clerk has responded to your username change request, but requires clarification before moving forward. Please follow up as soon as possible. Thank you. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 19:31, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, MusicaPazza, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- Cirt (talk) 15:17, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
