If you can explain why your translation of a Spanish Wikipedia article is word for word the same as as a profile at http://www.ilc.csic.es/en/personal/dge.cchs I would be obliged. A list of someone's books does no harm, but we NEED to have independent reliable sources discussing or covering the subject. Please see WP:RS. Not own sites, blogs, forums, wikis, wordpress pages, Facebook, LinkedIn or similar. Without at least a couple (preferably more), the article is likely to go to Articles for deletion, and without refs, it will probably be deleted. I've replaced the proposed deletion notice - you must not remove that without at least one reliable independent source in the article. (Ordinary PRODs can be removed - Biography of Living Person ones are removed only when the article has one or more references.) Peridon (talk) 22:42, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removing proposed deletion tag[edit]

Please do not remove this tag until there are references (at least one...). There must be at least one independent reliable reference for the biography of a living person to be here. External Links to profiles (which look the same) don't count. Please see WP:RS. The proposed deletion is scheduled for ten days after the tag was put on - this is to give you time to find the reference(s). Thanks for uploading File:Luis Moreno Fernandez.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
