March 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to India's Daughter, but we cannot accept original research. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, and ideas—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. AntonTalk 10:07, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add your (own) input with existing reference. --AntonTalk 10:10, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Can you talk at one place and do not disturb my talk page by editing here and there? Can you bring you issue at talk page of the article, please? --AntonTalk 10:18, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Still you are adding information without any valid source. Could you stop or improve? If you continue without discussing, I'd approach admin. --AntonTalk 10:31, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You can not copy and paste from online source. See Copyright violations --AntonTalk 10:40, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:21, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

March 2015[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at India's Daughter. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. AntonTalk 13:55, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not copy from online and paste in articles. I have inform you several time. I would approach admin if you do the same again and again. --AntonTalk 14:02, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violations[edit]

Hello. I am Diannaa and I am an administrator on this wiki. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the law to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. There's more information about copyrights and how it applies to Wikipedia at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Copyright law and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policies. Further copyright violations will result in you being blocked from editing. -- Diannaa (talk) 14:43, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi editor u can check the contents even when I wrote in my own words other editor deleted the content. I think any news cannot be coprighted only the words can be.

Hi Jaimal.sumbria. Your understanding of copyright law is faulty. Prose you find online is copyright. It is not okay to copy passages like you did with this edit. To do so is against the law; you are passing off the material as your own work, when in actuality you have copied it word-for-word from The Hindu. All material you add to this wiki needs to be written in your own words. -- Diannaa (talk) 14:21, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Advice[edit]

((edit conflict) with Diannaa) Hi, Jaimal.sumbria. I'm an administrator, and AntanO did inform me, as they said they would. Please slow down. You'd better not edit India's Daughter again until you have WP:consensus for your changes on the talkpage. I understand that it's difficult for a new editor to immediately know about all Wikipedia's policies, but you need to listen to the advice of experienced editors, such as AntonO. The two most important things for you to take on board is that you need to provide a reliable source for anything you add to the article, and that you must not copy and paste text from your sources. Doing so is a copyright violation, and could get Wikipedia into legal trouble. Instead, say the same thing using your own words.

I also have to tell you that politeness in discussion is highly valued here. For instance, accusing somebody of having an agenda, without evidence, is considered very rude. You should always assume people are working to help Wikipedia, just as other people must assume the same of you. Welcome to Wikipedia! Bishonen | talk 14:54, 10 March 2015 (UTC).[reply]

Hi, I requested AntonO to add the intended content and shared him the links but he was reluctant and even when my edit were compliant he deleted the content. and Nobody can copyright NEWS, its only is the combination of words used to convey that meaning can be.

Also the statements made by individulas cannot be copyrighted.
