Hi there. Sorry, I don't understand why the citation was removed; it is a link to a news article exploring audio induction loops and their technology. While it is true that the link is from a manufacturer, it in no way upsold their products and was an impartial explanation of the technology. Was the content the issue or the citation placement? Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. The first sentence of that website's 'about us' page runs as follows: Ampetronic are world leaders in the design and manufacture of audio induction loop systems. It's a commercial website promoting the products and services of a for-profit company - it is not the sort of independent, reliable source of information that should appear in our articles. Furthermore, you inserted it into parts of articles where no assertion had yet been made - there was no need for a citation of any kind. Do you by any chance work for a digital marketing agency that specialises in manufacturing, professional services and the visitor economy? If so, you need to familiarise yourself with the requirements of WP:PAID - adding links to a client's website without disclosing your connection is a violation of the terms of use of this website. Not the Ampetronic page - that was my example of a double standard I had observed, hence my confusion. I am simply asking why there is a disparity in allowing one link from a non-neutral educational source and yet not another - even if it has educational value. Apologies, you're right on that score - I had both open in different browsers, and clicked on the wrong 'about us' link. You were adding links to a different commercial, for-profit company that manufactures these things. No, obviously the Ampetronic link is not OK, I have already removed them now that they have come to my attention. You have not addressed my question about your employer. If you make any more edits on behalf of your clients without disclosing your connection to them, I'm going to block your account from editing indefinitely.
