That would be great the book they give away up there doesnt give a lot of detail just a general overview of the processes and the results. There are plenty of holes that need filling on that. The museum is really nice, its one fault is that there has been no additions to the museum since 1978, the last item added was incidentally the shovel the Charles used on during the tree planting. Don't aplogise, I enjoyed it! I have nothing on Horrie at all. I did think about him some time back but couldn't readily locate a decent source other than one or two lines here and there, which seems a bit odd given what he did, so I'm no help at all. Yeah, on the one hand you have a piece of information which looks true but isn't, then another which is true but trivial. I suppose puting the 2 meaings on a disambig page. Is this starting to look more like a dictionary though? and {{Geolinks-AUS-suburbscale|long=[LONG]|lat=[LAT]}} is a nice way of adding them to an article. It displays in the top right corner (see Menangle Park, New South Wales for an example)

Useage:

[LONG] = The longitude of the location, in decimal degrees, with "-" sign if required (between about -10.7 (Cape York, Qld) and -43.6 (South East Cape, Tas) for most Aus locations).
[LAT] = The latitude of the location, in decimal degrees, with "-" sign if required (between 116.2 (Steep Point, WA) and 153.6 (Byron Bay, NSW) for most Aus locations).

Unfortunately I've just discovered my '96 Gazetteer data is piss-poor when it comes to craters. It doesn't list any craters in WA. Wolfe Creek and Veevers are listed as "depressions"; Dalgaranga is simply listed as an "unbounded locality". Very unhelpful.

I already put our four archipelagos in with the islands.

I'd like to do some coastal features, but I'm need to think about how to group them. e.g I think I can put bays and gulfs together like you said. And I think I can group anchorages, ports and harbours together. But into which of these two groups should I put sounds e.g. Cockburn Sound?;

Re: Caves, I agree. But I can't make the judgement myself. In a perfect world, Rauleigh would respond to my email (which I haven't got around to composing yet) by saying "There are X number of caves that I'm not prepared to say anything about; Y number of caves that I'm only prepared to give you the name of; and Z number of caves for which I'll happily tell you everything I know."
