August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Warnings at Waverly Academy, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 03:58, 9 August 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Trail of the Twister. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 03:59, 9 August 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Trail of the Twister, you may be blocked from editing. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 04:03, 9 August 2010 (UTC) Revoked[reply]

Hello! Please don't remove a large amount of content like you did without an edit summary. But anyway, the content you removed was not "trash". If you wish to change an entire article, please discuss it on the article's talk page. Thanks! --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 04:10, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is trash. Things like "He's very friendly and enjoys working in theater", "Nancy has to keep her wits about her", "He's always found in the barn", and "There is an easy way to earn lots of Pa Pennies from the Land Rush game" are advertisement like/pointless trivia, and belong on a Video Game wiki. Ah yes, I see now that the summary on both were probably way to over-detailed, per WP:PLOT. Next time though, please include a edit summary so that other editors can see what you did at a glance. (All I saw was a large amount of content removed that, at first, looked okay.) Sorry and thanks again! --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 04:50, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. Are there any sorta tags I should put in the edit summary, or should I just explain why I removed the content? Jaywikiwiki (talk) 17:55, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, you just have to explain what you did (one or two sentences is usually enough.) Some people link to other Wikipedia pages in their summaries, but that's only optional. (BTW, you don't need to put a summary on your talk page or user page.) And yes, you're fine posting on both of our talk pages. It's a matter of preference, and no one will object. :) If you're interested in reverting vandalism, I suggest you look into Twinkle, a JavaScript tool that helps considerably in fighting vandals. Good luck!--Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 02:33, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thank you. Jaywikiwiki (talk) 03:17, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again! I would suggest asking the editor Wyn9 why they reverted your edit. I also suggest reading WP:PLOTSUM, as it's a great guide with plot summaries (and may help end this dispute.) Good luck! --Mithrandir (Talk!) (Opus Operis) 03:41, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
