Information icon Hello, I'm Ohnoitsjamie. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:25, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I was looking up the roster when you removed it. It’s on the Steelers website. It’s been confirmed Jd4plt (talk) 21:05, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I see now that it is on the roster, but it wasn't the first time you added it. (final warning rescinded). OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:06, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It was stated by their media reporter who was at their practice. Which is creditable. The second time I put it up it was already on the roster. That was just petty Jd4plt (talk) 21:08, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The warning could've been avoided if you'd provided a source in the first place. Enforcing verifiability is not petty. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:20, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Look at every player. None of them have a provided source on the number they are wearing. Are you going to be removing every players number and force people to add a source for the number they are wearing? Jd4plt (talk) 21:21, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No; in those cases, the information is easily verifiable on the roster. For new information being added, I'm going to enforce our rules that information be verifiable; in this case, that means waiting until it appears on their roster page, not rushing to add it to Wikipedia the second I hear it mentioned in a press conference. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:27, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Then you should go back and add sources to all the rookies who are new. I don’t see any rookie with sources on their numbers. Jd4plt (talk) 21:34, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited J. T. Woods, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Steele High School. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Justin Herbert, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:02, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t think the weight of the player is something that you add a source on. It’s an interview he had yesterday that he was asked about his weight and he mentioned he was up to 245. But no other player in the NFL has a source to indicate their weight Jd4plt (talk) 18:10, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Jd4plt, typically the NFL.com weight is used as a source as it's considered official. A player mentioning what they consider their weight to be is typically discounted and almost always changed back to what NFL.com has listed by well intentioned editors who often aren't aware of a player's own comments on their weight. Plus, as I'm sure you know, weights can fluctuate wildly within a period of a year, which is another reason that most editors default back to what's listed on NFL.com.
