User talk:Jeepday/Rail Trail Stub Template
Appearance
Minor changes
[edit]Hi jeepday. Hope you don't mind, bt I've made a couple of minor changes to your template.
- I've changed "NAME THE TRAIL" to {{PAGENAME}}. All you need to do is add "subst:" to the front when you make each page({{subst:PAGENAME}} and it will automatically add the pagename.
- I've removed a couple of the categories - this isn't used for list articles, so there's no point in it going in categories of lists.
- I've "commented out" the stub templates. That way, it stops your template appearing in stub categories. When you make the article, simply remove the <!-- and --> and they'll reappear. Also, please put the actual country name or region name in place of the "X" in the geo-stub template - almost every country in the world has its own stub template in the form CountryName-geo-stub now (have a look in Category:Geography stubs for any exceptions) - so do all Canadian provinces, US states and many other national subregions, but even just the country name will help..
Hope that helps! Grutness...wha? 23:52, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
