railways

[edit]

Hello Jgreenwood. About these railway stations you have been creating, I think you need to explain where they are, because at the moment, only people who live in the given area will understand what it is about. Regards, ßlηguγΣη | Have your say!!! 07:13, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, much better now. Well done.ßlηguγΣη | Have your say!!! 06:36, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Railway stations in Merseyside in Category:Lists of railway stations in the United Kingdom

[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you've edited Category:Lists of railway stations in the United Kingdom to include a list of Railway stations in Merseyside. If you want to create a list, placing the list in the category's description is not the way to go about it. What you should do instead is to check to see if such a list already exists, and if not, create a new article containing the list. In the case of railway stations in Merseyside, an article List of railway stations in Merseyside already exists. Could you please move the Merseyside stations from Category:Lists of railway stations in the United Kingdom to List of railway stations in Merseyside? Also, you might also want to have a look at Category:Railway stations in Merseyside. Ae-a 23:04, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Closed Railway Stations

[edit]

I've inadvertantly messed up your edit of 11:36 to the W's. If I try to correct my mistake while you're working on it it'll probably make things worse so I'm holding off for now, you may want to put them back again - sorry about that. Mucky Duck 10:43, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I think I've fixed it now. Mucky Duck 10:59, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Mcr Central.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mcr Central.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:46, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Liverpool Exchange Railway Station (1).jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 11:27, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Liverpool Exchange Railway Station (1).jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Various 07.09.31 019.jpg. The copy called Image:Various 07.09.31 019.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 11:29, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
