Commercial editing as of February 2018
[edit]I noticed that you've been making edits across several articles promoting a lesser known Sufi order known as the Madariyya. Several edits of yours have been used to promote some sort of phone application on the main article, and a random account did the same thing a few months ago. This is in addition to deletion of reliable sources, which you've done twice on that article.
I would recommend a decent review of the site's policy on editing to advertise. Even if you aren't the developer of the app in question, promoting it through articles isn't allowed. MezzoMezzo (talk) 03:36, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- My fellow editor, you've just performed the same exact edits yet again. Until now, I haven't seen any comments from you on any talk page at all, and you're persisting in the same behavior. Please take a look at the Wikipedia:Edit warring the next time you log in because it's quite relevant to this case, though there are a number of other policies and guidelines that could help clarify why you're being reverted. If you take it slow and try to make less bold edits while gradually reading up on Wikipedia's rules, you'll likely find your experience editing much more positive and fulfilling. - Please STOP promoting this relatively unknown group across articles such as Tariqa, Murshid, and Silsila. The lead part of an article is a summary of its content, containing the most significant information of the body in a summarized form. The order you're advertising for across Wikipedia isn't anywhere near the notability of the orders you're placing it next to such as the Chisti, Suhrawardi, etc. Wikipedia is not a soapbox; please familiarize yourself with that and stop the promotionalism across random articles.
