If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Excelprodigy, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Excelprodigy. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 11:05, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Jkbaseer. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 21:34, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, like you did in the article Ethiscrowd. Wikipedia is not a trade directory. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID). Not sure what’s the best way to discuss this

[edit]

Hello there! I just don’t understand what’s the problem with this addition. A Organization which has been in the business for 5+ years doing social impactful project been given many government recognition awards and what not.

There are lot of similar organisations which has its profile in Wikipedia. So I followed the same. That’s it.

There is no sales detail or anything added. I would suggest not to take every case from same perspective. This additions is just nothing but similar thing such as google or facebook. If that is considered as not sales, they should be as well.

I would like to know the checklist what’s considered as sales or how you name “trade directory”?

Then I want to compare this with all other postings in wikipedja and discuss this further.

Secondly , please don’t be rude in the language you use. Kindly explain to people what’s allowed and what not allowed. Don’t treat like we are trying to cheat the system. I have been using Wikipedia as paid chapter member for more than a half a decade. Just that I don’t always find a time to contribute a lot, Jkbaseer (talk) 16:03, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
