Topic Change

[edit]

I've decided to narrow my focus down from Backyard Ecosystems to Green Links. "Green Links" refers both to corridors between wildlife-friendly zones and to an up and coming program that will encourage city designers to include corridors between green spaces in their city plans.

Hi,

My name is Travis Termini, I am a senior in Landscape Architecture at LSU. For our LA5001 we have been given the task of preparing an image for two Biology students in your class. One of my selections was your project. I understand that your probably not done with the project at this time, however could you give me an expected date of completion or a date that you believe that you would have enough information about the project to give to me? You can email back at this address.

Thank you,

Travis Hi Travis,

Thank you for choosing my topic for your project. I don't expect to have very much done before the 23rd. But if you are eager to start working, I can provide you with some of the sources that I'll be using for my research. I'm trying to narrow my focus down to a subject called Green Links, which deals with the connectivity of green spaces and wildlife areas within cities. I'll do my best to get more information into my sandbox on Wikipedia so you can read over it as soon as possible. If you have any other questions along the way, I think we've been instructed to communicate via the Talk section of our pages. But email is always a guaranteed way to reach me.

Hello Jmil158,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Green Links for deletion, because it seems to be an promotion, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks,  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 21:47, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jmil158,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Green Links should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Green Links .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 01:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
