Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Garden of Allah Hotel, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages John Loder, Jon Hall and Charles Butterworth (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sunset Boulevard

[edit]

I reverted your edit to Sunset Boulevard because your wordsmithing isn't accurate to the cited source. Chris Troutman (talk) 17:57, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added an accurate source. Francis S. Montgomery (June 23, 1878 - April 18, 1961) was the son-in-law of Victor Ponet. Francis J. Montgomery (March 18, 1913 - January 17, 2006) was the son of Francis and grandson of Ponet. I think the date Victor Ponet purchased the land is incorrect and will find a source. He definitely did not buy it from the Mexican land grantees as they sold Rancho La Brea to Henry Hancock around 1860. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rancho_La_Brea
