Deletion discussion about Zapeando[edit]

Hello, Jorgemg14,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Zapeando should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zapeando .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Mr RD 18:11, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Los 40[edit]

Concerning this: [1]. It doesn't matter if the network changed its name to some differently stylized one. Read MOS:TM. Basically, if it is not an abbreviation and it is still pronounced "Los cuarenta" and not "L.O.S. cuarenta", the article stays at "Los 40" per Enwiki rules. --Moscow Connection (talk) 20:58, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Check their official website title - they call themselves LOS40. Never mind, if Wikipedia rules prefer to use "Los 40", we'll use that. --Jorgemg14 (talk) 21:04, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yes, Wikipedia rules prefer "Los 40". The article should open like "Los 40 (stylized LOS40, ...)
Actually, look at "La Sexta" in Eswiki and "Discusión:La Sexta#¿Son correctos estos títulos laSexta y laSexta Noticias?". So it's not only the English Wikipedia who does it this way. --Moscow Connection (talk) 21:16, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Could you move the page back please? Just cite MOS:TM in the edit summary.
(In the meantime, I will move "laSexta".) --Moscow Connection (talk) 21:21, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Done! --Jorgemg14 (talk) 21:26, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thank you! --Moscow Connection (talk) 21:35, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hi again! Actually, I'm now looking at "Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Trademarks#General rules", and it looks like "Los40" would be more correct by those rules. But I don't know... I don't think it's a good idea to rename the page to "Los40"...
(In the case of La Sexta the current name is still correct cause the spelling with a space is widely used and even the title of their official site is "LA SEXTA TV" [2].) --Moscow Connection (talk) 22:13, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'd prefer to keep the space because it has been known as "Los 40 principales" for a long time and this year they just removed the "principales" suffix - in fact, some people still say "40 principales".
In the case of the TV channel, they use both "laSexta" and "La Sexta" indistinctly so it's better to keep the last one as it follows the spelling rules. --Jorgemg14 (talk) 22:33, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
