Welcome!

[edit]

Hey Joseph Thomas Cochrane, welcome to Wikipedia!

I've replied to your message on my talk page with more information on semi-protection and conflict of interest editing. In particular for the latter, I recommend that you disclose your conflict of interest on your user page and continue to use edit requests for edits to Oneida Baptist Institute and related pages; the plain and simple conflict of interest guide might also be useful to you here.

As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

Alternatively, the contributing to Wikipedia page covers the same topics.

If you have any questions, we have a friendly space where experienced editors can help you here:

If you are not sure where to help out, you can find a task here:

Welcome again and happy editing! Dylnuge (TalkEdits) 02:32, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also I noticed your edits to Oneida, Kentucky. There were a few issues with those edits that I've fixed, which isn't a COI problem (though you may want to check out the editing links above for help), but I wanted to note that any editing about your employer falls under the conflict of interest policy (edits about Oneida not related to the Oneida Baptist Institute aren't an issue, of course).
I'm watching this talk page, so if you have any questions you can reply here; you can also reply to the conversation at my talk page if you'd prefer! Dylnuge (TalkEdits) 02:57, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm RPI2026F1. I noticed that in this edit to Oneida Baptist Institute, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. RPI2026F1 (talk) 01:15, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
