Help me!

Please help me with citation requirements for government data -- I can't find anything explicitly addressing it.

If I'm guessing, I'm guessing that http://www.cdc.gov/fmo/topic/Budget%20Information/appropriations_budget_form_pdf/FY2015_Budget_Request_Summary.pdf is adequate to support "The CDC's 2014 budget is $6.8B" in the main article, but I can imagine someone questioning that as a primary source.

If it was just this one, I'd be tempted to just do it and learn by watching the results, but I'm thinking what's in the article now isn't going to be the only thing of that nature, and I'd rather have something to point to for any of those.

(edit: sorry, main article is Centers_for_Disease_Control_and_Prevention

Primary sources are acceptable for uncontroversial details, and the size of the CDC's 2014 budget would probably be covered by that provision. Secondary sources are preferred, however, and I'm pretty sure newspapers or the like will have reported on the CDC's 2014 budget, so it seems very likely that an independent source could be found.
