Trouted
Whack! You've been whacked with a wet trout. Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly. |
You have been trouted for: Giving Level 2 warning instead of Level 1 to Kirishiba for vandalizing the page Neha Kakkar
- @Raydann: Hi, thanks for the trout, it was my understanding that a Level 2 Warning assumed no particular faith good or bad. In a case such as Kirishiba's, it was obvious vandalism to a BLP and my understanding of WP:UWLEVELS is that it may be appropriate to warn a disruptive user at a higher level than 1 where their behaviour is obviously in bad faith. I have been away from WP slightly longer than I'd like so if the policy and consensus has changed I'd be very grateful to find out. Thanks. Jtrrs0 (talk) 18:38, 24 September 2022 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited History of equity and trusts, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CUP. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:04, 26 September 2022 (UTC) {{Resolved}}

Pending changes reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

James Gunn's Wikipedia page
I was editing it cuz it was politically incorrect Avocado616 (talk) 16:26, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Avocado616. We don't censor Wikipedia according to political correctness or family-friendliness. I believe that @Bridget raised this issue on your talk page already. I hope you will continue to edit according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This means not removing sourced content, even if you may find it shocking or disagree with it. Let me know if I can help you with anything or you have any questions and I shall do my best to help. Jtrrs0 (talk) 16:32, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
Why did you say that about James Gunn's Wikipedia page Avocado616 (talk) 16:38, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Avocado616 As I explained above, the information contained there is sourced and should not be removed without due consensus. If you want to discuss why this is the case (ie Wikipedia's policies) I am happy to do so here. Otherwise, I am also happy to analyse the sources at the Article's talk page where you can seek to establish a new consensus. Until then please please do not content blank.Jtrrs0 (talk) 16:41, 11 October 2022 (UTC)

St. Mary's English High School, Jamshedpur
We collided at the article lol and you've restored the vandalism. Knitsey (talk) 11:40, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- Gosh, I'm really sorry! I was trying to remove the Epic Students list or whatever it was. Feel free to revert/edit it as you see fit as you probably have a clearer idea of exactly which bits that I reintroduced are vandalism. Apologies again. Jtrrs0 (talk) 11:42, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- I did it a couple of weeks ago myself lol. I've sorted it now. Knitsey (talk) 11:46, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- Perfect, thanks! Jtrrs0 (talk) 11:55, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- Can I ask a favour. He's still at it and I need to get ready for a hospital appointment. Can you reverse and report to AVI please? If not I can sort it later tonight. Thank you. Knitsey (talk) 12:38, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

- Hi! Really sorry, I was away from my computer and didn't see this 'till now. I'll keep an eye on the page in case they come back. Jtrrs0 (talk) 14:42, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

Please don't revert without explanation. Thanks. Drmies (talk) 18:02, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes! My apologies, I realised I had made a mistake and by the time I had gone back to correct the IP had already done so. It now seems that someone else has re-reverted the IP. So I'm gonna try and sort it out. Apologies again. Jtrrs0 (talk) 18:04, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- No worries. I looked into the matter and made an edit that was, I think, a bit more judicious than what the IP did. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 18:06, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes much better I think, though as you say, the whole article could do with better sourcing generally. Jtrrs0 (talk) 18:11, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
