Hi, I do not understand what the purpose of the link in the Bajerovce article is. (See link title The link about Bajerovce:). Can you please explain it? Thank you. Fourohfour 20:20, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. See the welcome page to learn more. Thanks. - Mike Rosoft 14:06, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, please don't improperly add Category:Cities and towns in Slovakia to articles. Inclusion of this text means that the article belongs to the category; most of the articles you have added to the category don't actually belongs there (and some of them already are in the category). Also please note that there exists a Category:Villages in Slovakia which is often a better choice. Thank you. - Mike Rosoft 14:49, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Finally, I don't think there is any reason to list every Greek Catholic priest of every town and village in Slovakia (why Greek Catholic, and not Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Protestant, etc.?) - Mike Rosoft 14:49, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If the author is not prepared to explain (or justify) the inclusion of these people, I recommend that they be removed.
Perhaps there is more significance of these people in Slovak culture, but I have heard nothing to indicate this. Fourohfour 14:51, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have already done so. - Mike Rosoft 14:58, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This guy (Juraj cisarik) is just a sleazy spammer wasting other people's time. You, admins should ban him.
BTW, there is no special way to treat or see this issues in Slovakia. Jurohi 18:36, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I already noticed that he was here to promote his own book and website. When he failed to respond to my notifications, I blocked him for five minutes to get his attention, and as a result he stopped contributing altogether. I don't think any more action is necessary. - Mike Rosoft 12:01, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Is that what it was supposed to be? I thought his/her contributions were so unclear that I couldn't even tell if they were meant to be spam or not. Perhaps it was just pagerank abuse, but then why bother placing it in a remotely relevant article? Ah.... so it wouldn't get deleted straight away. Clever... Fourohfour 15:56, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly. Ranking at Google is quite an obvious reason. Slovakia is a homeland of hackers, virus and antivirus writers, and many net know how knowledgeable people... sometimes missusing their knowledge, unfortunately. :) Jurohi 16:58, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
