Proposed deletion of Rakesh Sharma (IAS)
[edit]The article Rakesh Sharma (IAS) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- IAS government officials are not inherently notable. There must be references about Sharma. Articles having him quote a few sentences or say nothing about him are not references.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bgwhite (talk) 05:25, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
An endless list of "references" that only have quotes by Sharma or just mention him are not valid refs. References have to be about him. Read WP:GNG to learn more about what references are needed. WP:CITE talks about how to actually add references in the article. A list at the end does not count. You removed the Proposed deletion without addressing the problems. If you don't fix the problems, the article will be deleted. Bgwhite (talk) 07:44, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Rakesh Sharma (IAS).
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Bgwhite (talk) 09:25, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Bgwhite (talk) 09:42, 25 October 2016 (UTC)You keep reverting. You haven't discussed. You are now blocked for 24-hours.
If the article is edited by an IP or new user, you are subject to a permanent block. When unblocked, if you continue reverting, the blocks will get longer and/or the article protected so you can't edit it.
Read the links I've given you on what a reference actually is and how to insert references into the article. If you don't read how to do things properly and/or ask how to do things, there is nothing anybody can do for you. Bgwhite (talk) 09:47, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
