Kosovo

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!. I am glad you show your support for the current article Kosovo, as you did on the Kosovo talk page. Because we have had a lot of heated debate on that page, I removed one sentence from your comment, because it might be considered inflammatory (see WP:CIV). No harm intended, just keeping things cool! I am looking forwards to seeing your contribution to Wikipedia. Regards, Cpt. Morgan (Reinoutr) 10:37, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks Kosovo. I really appreciate this. Crna Gora (Talk/Contribs/Edit Count) 06:48, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Messages

[edit]

Your leave me a message here directs us to the serbian wikipedia. That is of not much use to most of us, since we do not speak or read serbian and do not necessarily have an account there. Perhaps it is better to let us leave a message here. Cpt. Morgan (Reinoutr) 13:14, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. --KOCOBO 05:14, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just letting you know that I will be reporting you to an Administrator for breaking the 3RR rule in the Kosovo article with a request to block you from wiki.Ferick 05:32, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have broken the rules yourself:

  • You reported me after you told me about the rules, but I didn't continue reverting
  • You didn't report me to the appropriate place, but rather Blnguyen's talk page
  • You keep accusing me of reverting your removal of appropriate templates concerning Kosovo-related articles, even though it is you who is unready to compromise and admit reality.

Your point of you does not relfect the point of view of most people. Please have that in mind, thank you. --KOCOBO 06:17, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation time on Kosovo

[edit]

I don't think we're getting anywhere with the Kosovo introduction, particularly since Ferick has openly rejected WP:NPOV and is now refusing to discuss sources. Accordingly, I've submitted a request for mediation. Please indicate on that page whether you consent to having the matter mediated. -- ChrisO 09:33, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stop it. I am being tolerant, but the map is not killing you, please just stop it. The RS map in Europe is deceptive and you know it and RS is the same as B&H so stop adding that map.--Dado 20:10, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think you need to take Geography 101 and maybe History 101 as well. Sarajevo is in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Banja Luka for example is in Republika Srpska and in Bosnia and Herzegovina. RS and FBiH are not the same but together they make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. Individually they are nothing. --Dado 20:26, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry but the article has been discussed for last 3 days and the consensus was that BH map is acceptable in this article. You on the other hand have violated 3RR in last 24 hours with 5 reverts so you will be reported for a block--Dado 20:35, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User notice: temporary 3RR block

[edit]

Regarding reversions[1] made on July 8 2006 (UTC) to Republika Srpska

[edit]
You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
The duration of the block is 8 hours. William M. Connolley 21:19, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Poor Taste

[edit]

This edit was in extremely poor taste and is downright offensive. Please review WP:NPA before leaving more talkpage edits. I have removed your comments. -Mask 16:55, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tesla

[edit]

Tesla's nationality is more then ten (10) times mentioned in article, please do not ruin pretty good encylopaedia article! Thank You! Vladimirko 19:22, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To quote previus article Your "edit was in extremely poor taste"... Tesla will not be more Serb then he is if you write it 12 or 15 times, it only shows that you're full of complexes of your own lesser value as serb! Please take a lesson in moderacy! Vladimirko 20:40, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

don't know how to report this guy, but he's obviously vandalizing all pages with external links, can you point me in the right direction how to report him for validism? http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Serbian_Orthodox_Church&diff=62974073&oldid=62545664 --Lowg 02:30, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm relatively new to wiki, I already reported some other users to WP:AN, but nobody responded, so I don't really know if anyone cares about Serbian articles. --KOCOBO 02:37, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You’re going to get yourself banned again, and this time for a long time. Have you realized that you have not engaged in any discussion page since you joined wiki, yet you have made numerous edits-which amounts to vandalism? I have checked all your edits so far, and the evidence is overwhelming to get you banned. Next time I will report directly to an administrator as it is impossible to reason with you. Ferick 03:38, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You broke the 3RR rule again in here[[2]] in addition to interrupting a process (vote) here [[3]].Ferick 03:46, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV Issue

[edit]

Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Thank you. --digital_me(TalkˑContribs) 03:06, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I refer to this edit to Roma people, which did not look like a reversion of vandalism. It might have been removal of content that violated Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, which is not strictly vandalism, and the removal of such content should include a reason for the removal in the edit summary, or on the talk page of the article.--digital_me(TalkˑContribs) 03:10, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for my slow response, another issue came up very suddenly that I had to deal with rapidly. After reading what you wrote, the only thing I think you were wrong on was your edit summary, which should have said something along the lines of "Removed POV, Serbia and Kosovo are the same country", or something to that effect. I won't warn Ferick, but you can do that yourself, using the warning templates here. I would advise that you read and become familliar with WP:NPOV first, just so that you are prepared for any arguments Ferick might raise. Remember, above all, be sure to keep a cool head, and read whatever you're about to post twice.--digital_me(TalkˑContribs) 03:27, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
First, I'd like to ask why you think he wants to remove all the instances of "Serbia". Then, I'd like to ask you to try to engage in discussion with this user. I would like to see you work this issue out with the user. What I can do in this case is very limited. I am willing to act as a mediator in a Mediation Cabal case, but that's about all I can do for you or Ferick, and even the Mediation Cabal has no authority—mediators can only make reccomendations. I would like to make it clear that I am a neutral party here—don't expect me to represent you to Ferick, or anything like that.--digital_me(TalkˑContribs) 03:50, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Look, I am not going to give you any more assistance if you take this attitude towards another user. At this point, you are making personal attacks against another user, which is a bannable offense, if you continue in this manner. The key here is understanding why Ferick wants "Serbia" removed. POV pushing is NOT vandalism, and should not be treated as such. I am not going to deny that Ferick hasn't been inflamatory, but looking at your contribs, you have also been inflamatory towards other users. I strongly advise you to back off from the situation for a few days and let yourself cool down, before you do something you regret. I am warning you for making personal attacks, which you have done here: [4] [5]. If you do not stop making personal attacks, I will request that you be blocked for a standard period of time (in this case, 24 hours, as you have never been blocked before.)

Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by admins or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. --digital_me(TalkˑContribs) 04:43, 10 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
