[edit]

In general, a person or organization added to a list, as on Katie, should have a pre-existing article to establish notability. If you wish to create such an article, please confirm that your subject is notable according to Wikipedia's notability policy. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 00:25, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Template:Katie Coughlin

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Katie Coughlin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. Monty845 00:33, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: My page deleted

Hello. Wikipedia is not a social networking site. It is an encyclopedia. --43?9enter ☭msg☭contribs 01:00, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Katie Coughlin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Drmies (talk) 01:04, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: The article was deleted because it was not appropriate for Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not the proper place for you to post made-up stories about you or your family. Please do not use Wikipedia as a place to store made up things. Instead, please use something like MySpace or Facebook. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 01:14, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Katie

[edit]

Hi Katie, I reverted one of your contributions [1] as vandalism but should have been a good faith revert. Please note that there are criteria to include something in Wikipedia. Such criteria is described here: WP:Notability. In your case I believe that the items you added are not remarcable enought to have a place on Wikipedia. WP is not (you can see the whole list here: WP:not) a place for self promotion, a blog or a social network. Only add content that is notable and also do not add any content about yourself. Thank you and welcome to wikipedia! Uirauna (talk) 01:05, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
