Speedy deletion nomination of City of Douglasville Development Authority[edit]

A tag has been placed on City of Douglasville Development Authority requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with City of Douglasville Development Authority. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. It seems to me that this was just copy and pasted. Fair use rationale for File:Douglasville logo.gif[edit]

I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

City of Douglasville Development Authority[edit]

I wanted to be sure you understood that, although there appeared to be some difficulty with the copyright surrounding the above-captioned material, that was not the primary reason why it was deleted. Essentially, it appeared to me to qualify as both advertising for the company in question and as a non-notable company; there were no reliable sources demonstrating that any arm's-length third-party experts felt that the company was in any way significant beyond its peers. Best of luck in sorting out your username difficulties and with your future contributions; I'd advise you to read this introductory article before proceeding further.
