Hi Ken

What you're talking about probably won't work. If you write about hypoallergenic dog food, then you need to make sure that you're narrowly focussed on dog food. Information about hypoallergenic dogs would go in the hypoallergenic dog breed article. If there's a special diet for them, you might add some information about it to that page, or to the dog food page. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:10, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ian,

Specifically, we would be talking about dogs that have allergic reactions to certain foods, which requires them to eat hypoallergenic food. This is different from a hypoallergenic dog. Does that make more sense?

OK, that makes more sense. You might want to expand the allergies in dogs article. Expand the background information about allergies. Add a section about management, and a subsection about diet. You might also add a section to the dog food article that goes into details about the diet. And finally, link the two sections together with "see more" links.
